Melena Gerry

Owner/Designer

Born and raised in the Sunshine State, Florida. I grew up in a family that is both creative and technical. I studied at Valencia Community College and continued my education at the University of Central Florida. I studied architecture and found a passion in the construction industry. Working with Disney FAM, I learned about budgets, planning, and scheduling. Then I went to work for CNL helping with contracts and some scheduling.

Switching gears I worked in marketing for some time learning about sales then found the perfect industry for me, building pools! I have been designing pools for over 7 years and have immersed myself with scheduling, building, and helping run another local pool building company. I look forward to working with you and your family to get you into your Backyard Bliss!

Adam Gerry

Owner/Builder

Growing up in Florida I have a passion for anything and everything related to water. As a youth I dabbled in watersports including surfing, wakeboarding, skiing, windsurfing, fishing, snorkling, scuba diving, jet skiing, sailing. As an adult I’ve narrowed it down to surfing, fishing, and building pools!

My professional career has taken me from corporate finance jobs with Charles Schwab and Bank of New York to a successful career in Commercial Real Estate. In 2020 I decided it was time to put my passion for water to work and get my Certified Residential Pool Contractors License. Backyard Bliss is the next step and Melena & I are excited to help our customers make their homes into their own personal paradise.
